Isabelle, nace en Sept-Îles, el 6 de febrero de 1978, Canadá. Se licenció en Bellas Artes y en Diseño Gráfico en la Universidad de Quebec, Montreal. Después de completar sus estudios, se especializó en ilustración. Ha ganado numerosos premios, patrocinados por Communication Arts, American Illustration y Applied Arts. En 2005, ganó el prestigioso premio Literario del Gobernador General por la Ilustración de su primer libro para niños, Le Coeur de Monsieur Gauguin. Su pasión por la imaginación de los niños le permite producir imágenes que atraen tanto a lectores jóvenes como a lectores adultos.
Entre sus libros, ha ilustrado “Carta al Mundo y otros poemas” de Emily Dickinson y “Virginia Woolf” de Kio Maclear.
